I had always wanted to perform at Candy Box in Birmingham! It's just one of those clubs that has this friendly and luminous athmosphere about it! And that is on both sides of the stage!! I'm sure it has a lot to do with Al and Saffron who are such loveable people!! Already because of them I was so happy to be a part of the last (for now!) Candy Box line-up of very delish performers! My Carmen Miranda inspired routine sure warmed up any possible winter chills and I absolutely loved performing to live music by the rockin' Palookaville! Not forgetting Imelda's beautiful voice and stories about Helsinki!

The evening was magical and I had such a giggle all the way through! It was lovely to meet the very sweet, Mimi LeMeux! She was fantastic! It was really nice to see again the fire-cracker Kitten On the Keys who got me in stitches due to laughing! Missy Malone shimmied and shaked wonderfully and Chocolat lit up(literally!) the show by striking a match from her g-string!Woohoo! The Candied Heels were adorable like always! I just love them!

And I'll never forget Captain Sensible in his French maid outfit! I say...

Finnish TV Appearance

Maria, Maria- talkshow!
Yle TV2, Helsinki, 14th November

Burlesque has finally landed in Finland! Thus, it was a pleasure to make a small piece of TV history at this witty and delightfull TV-chatshow! The beautiful and smart hostess, Maria was a dream to work with as were all the crew at Yle studios. They were all very enthusiastic, friendly and helpfull. I'd be happy to go back anytime for an encore. In addition I got to meet the other guests of the show. I met a few of my favourite singers, Jari Sillanpää and the legendary Katri Helena. I also had the chance to marvel at the amazing heels Kirsti Paakkanen was wearing. She is no spring chicken but still she strutts on platform heels that defy gravity! Well done girl! I felt utmost respect for her, not just because of her heels, but because of her years of dedication to Finnish designer brand "Marimekko". She alone saved it from destruction in the early 90's. Girl Power!

NAUGHTY BUT FABULOUS!

This time I got to be Naughty but Fabulous with fellow teasers at the ever-popular supper club Volupté! As always, it was delicious to be a part of a lushious line-up on this exciting evening! This very up-close and personal venue was the perfect setting for my "pretty In Pink" routine as I love to give a member of the audience a little tickle with my pink maribou stole.The Grande Dame of Burlesque and founder of London School of Striptease - "Goodtime" Mama Jojo served yet again a buffet of sexy song, delightful dance, coquettish comedy and and gave rare performances of her own too.

Bar Monsta, London, Sat 6th October

My first go at being a live model went down a storm. The cosy Bar Monsta in Camden Town was filled with the sound of pencils gently scratching the paperpads. I was stunned how talented these people were! The style and the lenght of each sketching varied and after each session the best one was given a special prize. Each time, it was really difficult to choose the winner but we got there in the end with the expertise of Dusty Limits. I was so impressed by them all that I would have given a prize to everyone! I even got myself a beautiful pencil etching of me! I'll cherish that forever. Luckily, it won't be that long I get to do it all over again at Dr. Sketchy Finland!

GAY PAREE!

Gentry de Paris Burlesque Revue
Paris 26th September

The show in Paris was amazing! I got to meet French burlesque beauties and the terrific touring trio, Bettina May, Vienna La Rouge and Tana The Tattooed Lady. The venue itself, Divan du Monde had significant historical past of being one of the most important music halls of its time having the likes of Josephine Baker on the bill mesmerising the audience. It was also only 5 minutes from the Moulin Rouge and its beautiful Doriss Girls. There was a time when the most famous can can girl "La Goulue" shocked the punters of Moulin Rouge with her high kicks. I wondered off to the Montmartre cemetary to visit her grave. There I was astonished to find a huge colony of feral cats living in peace with the dead and their mourners. I got to practise my French too which sounded so much better after a celebratory glass of champagne!

HIGH TEASE IN SCOTLAND!

Glasgow, 16th September

I had such a lovely time in Scotland! People are friendly, approachable and so very charming. I definitely want to go back as I didn't even have the chance to eat any haggis!

It was an absolute delight to be a part of the line-up which included the reigning Miss Exotic World, Immodesty Blaize, tassling expert Fancy Chance and victorian beauty Kittie Klaw. High Tease took place at Oran Mor which is an old gothic church! It was stunningly beautiful with its arches and stained glass windows. it was also so very naughty doing a stiptease show in such surroundings of worship that it made it even more tasty. And Dusty's commentary and songs just made it even more decadent!

NAUGHTY BUT NICE!

It was such a pleasure and an honour to perform at this sold-out (very!) Naughty But Nice! The fabulous and starstudded event was hosted by who else than the Grand Dame of Burlesque - "Goodtime" Mama Jo King and we even got to see her perform, which was the icing on the cake. The glamorous night was a mouthwatering buffet of delicious food, sexy song, delightful dance, coquettish comedy and tantalizing tease. I was happy to get a glimpse of the very hot&new debut acts too! Siren Stiletto, this year's heiress to my crown of the winner of Tournament of Tease, definitely teased the crowd with her diamonds not to mention the other tantalizing acts!!
